1. Decide on your key message or messages
2. Structure your presentation logically
3. Make sure that you know your audience
4. Know the room - be aware of background & lighting when selecting clothes
5. Practice, practice and more practice
6. Avoid milky or carbonated drinks - they'll make your mouth dry up
7. If your notes are on a computer/autocue have a paper backup in your pocket
8. Enter from the left if possible - people read from left to right
9. Go at half the speed that you think you should
