Objectives


Launch a portable electronic projector to UK industry dealers.
Ensure that key product features are understood and remembered.
Generate 'on the day' orders.

 

Approach


We designed an interactive presentation to be delivered at a series of early morning breakfast launches across the UK. After a light hearted 'personality test' to focus attention, the projector was produced from a small case (to highlight it's small size) and it's key features were explained. Each explanation was individually designed to be entertaining and readily understood by attendees whatever their natural learning style; visual, auditory or kinesthetic. The audience were then asked to score these features for their effect on increased sales and profitability. These random scores were shown to have been predicted in advance - reinforcement that the manufacturer had produced a new product tailored to the demands of the market.

 


Results


Client research showed that all attendees had expected an industry standard briefing but had enjoyed the unusual approach of being entertained while they learned. Most could recall all key features several months after the event. 'On the day' orders achieved were 200% of target. One additional benefit was that attendance at subsequent launches by this client was over subscribed.
